Distinguished Programs Names Zurich North America as New Carrier for City Homes Insurance Program.

NEW YORK, Jan. 7, 2019 – Distinguished Programs, a national insurance program manager, today announces Zurich North America as the new insurance provider for its City Homes Insurance Program (CHIP) effective as of January 1, 2019. Zurich also operates as the provider for Distinguished Programs’ NY Brick & Brownstone program.

The City Homes Insurance Program was designed with the small urban residential building owner in mind. Often overlooked by generalist insurance providers, the product was specifically tailored through its insurance coverages, complementary solutions and risk management offerings to meet the growing needs of small, multi-family and owner- or tenant-occupied properties. It is available in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New Jersey’s Gold Coast, Philadelphia, Portland, St. Louis, St. Paul, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

City Homes offers competitive features including a personal lines form and a range of property coverages. Focusing primarily on small apartments and condominiums in urban locations, coverage for these risks includes back-up of sewers and drains (full limits), equipment breakdown and ordinance or law coverage A, B and C. In addition, the program includes optional crime endorsements, non-owned/hired auto and employee benefits coverage options, among other features.
